It’s not actually considered as the usual thesis wherein you’ll have to do research, compile then pass. In CSB, we call it our ‘Culminating Project’. Same shit banana lang, difference is we don’t have that much paperworks… So anyway, I won’t be blogging here since I am required to use my website for this project.

I’ve been busy and broke for the past couple of months weeks. Now I am slowly feeling outdated with whats hot and whats not in the fashion industry… I have to be FASHYON (since I’m working in a fashionable environment) you know! So yes I am back to ONLINE SHOPPING. Here are some of the stuffs I ordered:

A Tiffany & Co. replica of belt mesh bracelets. Since I can’t afford the real thing, might as well stick with this right? NOTE: I actually hate buying fakes. I only purchase replicas/items that DOES NOT have the designer name in it. Ok? Anyway I ordered it from Jam. I was supposed to deposit payment this week but was too busy with school and work all at the same time. Must deposit payment before Jam leaves for Canada on the 19th!

Funky wallet and watch both from Forever21 ordered from Cris Navarette. She’s an old friend from my gradeschool years in St. Paul and she owns an online shop in multiply that sells stuff from the US. Check out Power Retail now!

Few updates lang…

Last monday inantay ko sila Mama matapos sa dinner nila with Jay (my cousin whose probably back in Japan by this time). Sobrang lakas nung ulan and nag baha sa buong Manila. While were stuck in traffic, na feel ko yung gutom ko. Buti na lang may take away food sila Mama. Lumipat ako sa likod ng van para di mahirapan kumain.

Di ko ata napansin na nahulog yung phone ko nung lumipat ako. Na realize ko lang siya nung medyo malayo na kami. Mahirap naman bumalik kasi sobrang traffic din. So yes, I am phone-less once again. I’m stuck with my oldschool Nokia 8250 with my Globe sim in it. Di ko alam if kailan ko kukunin yung Sun sim ko kasi wala na ako extra phone for it.

To my dear readers, if may extra phone kayo diyan, akin na lang! Ang hirap talaga ng walang pera. Walang pang bili ng cellphone. Calling the attention of my parents!!! Please buy me a new phone… THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! Hahaha.

I started working in Summit last Tuesday. Met new found friends in my department namely Nikki, Renee, Bebba and Ms. Isha Andaya. Medyo nag a-adjust ako kasi nga newbie. Pero ok lang, I am hoping to learn a lot more stuff related to multimedia.

Mamaya papasok ulit ako. Magkaka devil wears prada moment na naman ako. Bye!

So yesterday I told you guys that I bought a new pair of pumps (wicked pumps shall I say? those 3 inch heels were killing me). That was actually for my interview with Summit Media. Nag submit kami nila Gold and Faye ng resume last July and I’m so thankful that they called me up last Monday. Haha. Anyway, I asked ulit mother dear if she can buy my whole outfit for the interview (off topic: puro ba ako pabili? ang hirap  talaga ng walang pera every sembreak. haha). So this is how it looked like:

I wore a brown (somekinda cheongsam) top with a wide legged pair of pants plus my 3 inch killer pumps. Wala kasi ako camera and I was tamad to take pictures kanina.

So upon arrival at Summit Media, my devil wears prada moment started… The guard asked me to fill up another application form and told me to wait for Ms. Bianca. While waiting, I noticed that most of the people working there were around 30 years old and below. Young pa sobra! And their outfits… puwede na pang after work party! Then sabi ko sa sarili ko, “Hmm, I would LOVE to work here. No dress codes! Fun! Yay!”

Mga after 10 minutes, Ms. Bianca asked me to come with her for my interview. Ayun, blah blah blah. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. After 10 minutes, “So I’ll see you on Tuesday ok? Don’t forget to bring 2 copies of any 1×1 or 2×2 picture. Tapos pa sign mo na rin sa practicum adviser mo yung papers.”

Fun! So am I accepted? I FUCKING AM! I’ll be placed daw with the StyleBible.PH department. It’s a new website for Preview Magazine. I decided to check out their website… Hmmm… So far so good!

Their logo. Talk about Typography? At first I didn’t know what StyleBible was. Naisip ko, para siyang yung book from the movie wherein may mock up of the whole magazine. Haha. Siguro nga parang ganun pero online version.

EDIT: Nakalimutan ko ata i-share na pangarap ko makapag work sa Summit. Kahit na nung highschool pa ako, Summit na yung gusto ko pasukan. First choice ko siya sa lahat ng companies. And now, nabigyan ako ng chance mag trabaho dun kahit 100 hours lang, susulitin ko yung experience na ‘to. Haha.

I was feeling ferosh awhile ago and I asked mom if she can buy me a new pair of pumps. And yeah she did bought me one! Yay!

I love it! Fierce!

This is Patricia’s THIRD foot wear since July. Momma bought her 2 pairs of Crocs last July and August and now these Converse sneakers (for September?). Tssss. Stay tuned for her October pair. 0_o

So anyway, enough with the shoes. Share ko lang complete group pic with my CSB friends last September 1 and 2 in Tagaytay. A term ender celebration. Hahaha. Baliktad, Faye and I shouldn’t be celebrating. Kapagod but fun! Next time ulit!

Medyo hindi siya maayos na group pic but at least we were complete. Lol. Wala kasi kami nila Faye and Jopay dun sa maayos na picture eh. Umalis kami maaga. Tsssk.

Hindi ko alam if ano meron sa term na ‘to. Nakakalungkot kasi marami akong grades na mababa, halos bumagsak na nga eh.

Nakakahiya man sabihin pero muntik ko na ibagsak yung AUTHOR2 (Intactive CD) subject ko. Sa totoo naman kasi, medyo nasasabaw ako sa kanya. Pang set the member lang ata yung mga codes ko. At first, tanggap ko na siya na medyo bagsak ang aabutin kong grade. But after a few hours (kasama na dun yung pag pila sa registrar at malaman na wala pang available na author2) na realizee ko na bakit hindi ko try kausapin si Ms. Luna…

Ayun, tinanong ko if ano ba yung grades ko and if ano yung final percentage. Nasa 66% level ako. Konti na lang, pass na. So kinapalan ko yung mukha ko at tinanong if magagawan pa ba ng paraan yun para maging 1.0 (70% or pasang-awa). Ayun, naawa siya sa akin at sige daw pwede ko ayusin yung finals na pinasa ko since may point nga naman ako na kaunti na lang, makaka 70% na rin.

So humingi ako ng tulong sa friends ko. Special mention si FYU kasi sa kanya galing yung “prangkie codes”. Dahil sa codes na yun, umayos yung finals ko. At pinagbigyan ako ni Ms. Luna.

Sobrang nakakahiya lang dahil first time ko ginawa yung kapalan ang mukha at tanungin ang professor. Na ko-konsensya naman ako at parang iniwan ko sa ere yung girlfriends ko (Faye & Gold) at kailangan nila mag take ulit nung subject. I’m sorry! Tutulungan ko na lang kayo sa interface pero kayo na bahala sa codes.

I learned a lot from this experience. Ang hirap pala nung feeling ng may bagsak. Ewan ko ba if paano tinatanggap nung ibang students yung failure nila. Sabi nga ni Faye, once lang dapat ‘to at hindi na maulit. For me, I think mas kailangan ko na mag seryoso lalo na’t graduating student ako. Mahirap magkamali ngayon. Hindi siya katulad ng highschool na kapag may 74 eh ok lang. Sa college, hangga’t bagsak ka, dapat mong ulitin. Ayaw ko tumulad sa mga ID no. 99-104 na hindi naka graduate on time. Wala ako balak mag 5th year ok?

This software is a little bit similar with Apple’s photobooth app. It has I think around 15 different effects. Medyo konti compared to photobooth. Pero ok lang, it works in my Vista OS laptop. Cool!

I woud defintely recommend this product to my friends! As a result of my excitement with this new discovery, I asked my mom if I can upgrade it using her credit card… And she said yes! Now my pictures won’t be limited to only 10 per day, no more logo’s in my picture, no more print screen photoshopping for me since only 10 images were allowed, etc.

I just wish that they upgrade their product and add more cool effects! Recording a video would be fun too! Thanks Snap team! You guys rock!

• Di ko alam if inis ako or what. May times na I feel like I don’t belong, I’m not welcome, etc.
